Centrelink is the Australian Commonwealth Government's welfare agency. It is the central body responsible for the dispensation of all Commonwealth welfare payments including pensions, student allowances and unemployment benefits. Additionally, Centrelink supplies numerous Commonwealth services to the Australian Community, such as assistance and education for people receiving welfare payments. Its website details these as some of their 140 different "products and services", which it supplies to around one third of Australian citizens.

Youth Connections

Youth Connections can assist young people who may not achieve Year 12 or equivalent and have barriers that limit opportunities to participate in education, training or employment. Youth Connections providers will work with young people to help make a successful transition through education onto further education, training or work.

Specialist staff provides assistance to students, the unemployed or people who are looking at changing jobs. Career Information Centres can help customers make informed decisions about education, training and employment options and pathways.
