Their main responsibilities are to:

• provide a range of assessment services
• provide quality workplace rehabilitation services
• to people with an injury or illness to help them
• return or remain at work
• work in partnership with employers to provide
• services that reduce the impact and cost of injury and illness in the workplace
• assist employers in providing healthy and safe workplaces for employees.

These services are provided by more than 1200 allied health professionals and employment services consultants who work closely with their local communities.
