Western District Employment Access (WDEA) is a community based, not-for-profit organisation that has operated across Western Victoria since 1989.

WDEA provides employment programs and services for jobseekers and employers.

Job Services Australia supports jobseekers, providing services such as resume preparation, training, work experience, job search techniques, skills assessments, job matching and employment counselling. Financial assistance may also be available for things such as further training, books and equipment, wage subsidies for employers, licences and workplace tickets, and transport assistance.

Disability Employment Services play a specialist role in helping people with a disability get ready to look for a job in the open labour market and then keep it. WDEA's Disability Employment Services can help you if you have an injury, ill health or a disability that is permanent or likely to be permanent.

Transition to Employment (TTE) helps young people who are not quite ready to move into the workforce who receive assistance through a Commonwealth employment program or the Department of Human Services. TTE is focused on supporting this group of young people to build their skills, capacity and work experience.

Employer Solutions is a free service for employers looking to recruit new staff or up-skill their existing workforce. Services include advertising of job vacancies in local newspapers and on the Internet, screening applications, skills matching against current registered job seekers, advice on training options and Apprenticeship servicing. They can also provide a direct link to Labour Hire services.

Apprenticeships - WDEA operates as an Australian Apprenticeship Centre in Warrnambool, Portland, Hamilton, Colac and surrounding areas. Australian Apprenticeships offer a range of benefits to employers and to individuals wanting employment and training as an Apprentice.
Apprenticeships are offered in a range of industries and a number of financial incentives are available to help offset any costs. The choice of apprentice is yours and is not restricted by age, provided the candidate is aged between 15 and 65.
Training modules are selected to meet the needs of your workplace and can be delivered in a flexible manner. Member of the G-Force Consortium.
