Cooinda Disability Service provides a diverse array of education, training and employment opportunities for people with a disability.

The Service supports employees to have a 'voice' in decision making applicable to their employment. Cooinda Disability Service focuses on participation and integration into the wider health service and the community.

Cooinda provides innovative programs to assist people to achieve individual goals through a variety of activities developed to enhance personal goals, skill acquisition and promote inclusion within the Community.

Cooinda offers both group and individual supports to people with physical and intellectual disabilities, through Futures for Young Adults, Respite, Individual Support Packages, Day Services and Supported Employment.

Programs include community access and interaction, communication and social interaction, continuing education, domestic competency, fire brick program, gardening, health and fitness, health diet and food preparation, recreation and leisure, recycling and rights and responsibilities. Individualised supports are also available.
