ConnectEd

Connect Ed
ConnectEd is a program facilitated by Horsham College that provides a short term intensive intervention support program for students identified in mainstream classrooms who would benefit from a personalised personal development and intensive study program. These students upon completion of the program are intensively supported in re-entering mainstream classes.

The Baillie St Campus of the ConnectEd Off Campus Programs caters for teenagers aged between 11 and 21, who have disengaged from mainstream education. Each student has an individual learning program that suits his or her needs and future aspirations. The curriculum includes, art, work experience, literacy, numeracy, cooking, recreational activities and self-development sessions. Classes are small and some students have one-on-one lessons. The staff also attempts to connect students with as many aspects of the community as possible and provide opportunities for students to have access to inspiring role models and to develop positive relationships. Support services such as counselling and health care are provided.

  • Young Parents Group
  • Certificate II in General Education
